a 100th Birthday Card

I was happy to be asked to make a card for a lady turning 100! I haven't made one before- a pretty cool thing to be asked to do.

I knew straight away I wanted to make a pretty card, using soft colours.

I've stamped the image, and then watercolored using pencils, I've also added some watercoloring to the background, and stamped some scripted french text, to add a bit of detailing.

Also a bow and a clingy 100 ;-)

I love how its turned out- hopefully so will the recipient.

I'm entering the card into the following challenges:

Just Add Ink-" V"  violet on this card ( I know I'm pushing the limits ladies - have a heart :-) )

Craft Stamper magazine- Text.

Paper Sweeties - Photo inspiration- the pinks and mauves.
