3D Christmas Cards

Hi There, It's such a busy time of year - but I finally got chance to play with Kaisercraft Glisten Collection; so elegant and lovely to use for all sorts of Christmas crafts. But you could create these 3D cards using any paper you have in your stash.

Using  those wooden trays that chipboard is often sold in, I created these 2 3D Christmas cards, that can be used as wall hangings or door greetings.

I had such fun creating them, and I think they just make a change to give your loved ones something they can keep.

I also used a whole heap of Prima flowers from my stash.

Love that Black, gold and red colour combo.

I'm nearly on track now for Christmas - just 6 sleeps to go !!!

Vintage masculine LO

Hi everyone,
I have been MIA - I've had a lot of stuff going on at home and work but  today I'm back with a vintage inspired layout, using Kaisercraft Barber Shop; this collection is perfect for those masculine vintage projects. The colours work so well with sepia and black and white photos.

12 x 12 Vintage LO

All the bits and bobs from the collections always with Kaisercraft work seamlessly together, so I quickly had my Layout. I added some stencilling and sponging, as well as some splattered and we are all done.

I've created the background with water and powder water colours paints, I've then stamped with Staz On and coloured with water colour pencils.
I've also done some background stamping to also add a little more depth.

I'm entering this card over at Twofers challenge- where the theme is Birthdays.

Butterflies

Unity Butterfly  Girl

I've been having lots of inky fun, with my new watercolour powder paints, you can create quick easy funky backgrounds with these in an instance.

I've created the background and the stamped the girl separately and coloured her using twinkling H2O watercolour paints.
I'm entering Butterfly girl over at Fashionable Stamping where the theme is butterflies, lots of inspiration from the DT and entries :-)

Tag Book

Today I'm sharing with you a tag book I've created for an English colleague returning to the UK.

I added lots of travel and kiwi details.  Inside I've decorated the tags by sponging with Distress Inks, stencils and sparkly watercolour paints.

I left enough room for people to leave their farewell wishes, and I included a few photos of his time with us; everyone loved it.

My first Pocket Letter

Today I'd like to share with you my first ever pocket letter. I made it for  Ink Stained Roni's   Pocket Letter swap, I hadn't heard of them before. But let me tell you they are so much fun to create and receive!

I went all inky for this one, I had so much fun.

Basically for those who haven't created one before, its like 9 ATC's either with a connecting theme or not.

It was such fun to pull out all my lady stamps and have a play.

Then once you've done that- you fill the back pockets with goodies and then wrap it up!

Such Fun!!!

a 100th Birthday Card

I was happy to be asked to make a card for a lady turning 100! I haven't made one before- a pretty cool thing to be asked to do.

I knew straight away I wanted to make a pretty card, using soft colours.

I've stamped the image, and then watercolored using pencils, I've also added some watercoloring to the background, and stamped some scripted french text, to add a bit of detailing.

Also a bow and a clingy 100 ;-)

I love how its turned out- hopefully so will the recipient.

New Moon February

February's New Moon is already here! Hali's  prompt this month is Feeling What you Feel and Freedom. Once I started creating I couldn't stop- 3 journal pages.
I haven't created anything in my journal for probably over 6 months, it felt great- very freeing.

Created with Acrylic paint, Distress inks, stencils pen and ink.

Beneath each photo, I've shared some of the words that were channelled at the time.
My other blog, contains the words in more detail.

Her Heart Longed to be Where it Belonged ... Home.

The Divine Feminine languished inside her- waiting to be awoken, her light grew Brighter.

There was a Storm brewing in her Heart, she waited and watched it grow.
