Tic Tock

Gosh, where does the time go? This last fortnight has just sped by for me. It's Suzanne's turn to chose our challenge at Craft Room Challenge. She's chosen Clocks, just make sure that a time piece is someone on your creation :-)

It's been a while since I did any collage stamping, which is one of my fav things to do. For my card, I collaged using our sponsors Crafty Individuals stamps CI-333. I love this stamp, I embossed it with gold, masking the Clock (a retired Stampin' Up! set) both to the side and above. I then added some more stamps using those generous freebies that Crafty Individuals send when you order off them :-) Some Gold butterflies and bling and it's ready to go.

This is such a fun theme, with heaps of possibilities can't wait to see what you all come up with.

My Secret Word is;
SOMETHING

Here is the Blog Hop Rotation

What fun- my first Gecko Galz Blog Hop :-) Here are my samples made using your free sheet. Scroll down to download the sheet.

For this cute little gift box, I've used all Stampin' Up! Products I just love their gift box die- it's so easy to create gorgeous gifts. To make it extra pretty I've also added some glitter to the butterfly wings. The friend stamp is called Mixed Medley also from Stampin' Up!   I think this butterfly collage is just beautiful and so versatile.

I created the little bird frame by using Stampin' Up!  Designer Frames embossing Folder, these little folders are perfect for framing little images. I added some shimmer paint to the frame. And added some Kaisercraft Patterned paper and some ribbon and lace from my stash.

For this pretty halloween card, I printed an image from the Gecko Galz Digi stamp set Hocus Pocus. I coloured it orange with Stampin' Up! ink and Dylusions ink spray. I then added lace and bling from my stash.

I've used Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante paper for this card, and then run it through the Big Shot and embossed it using a Tim Holtz Folder. It's hard to see in the photo, but I covered the whole butterfly image with glitter by using Heat and Stick Powder and then Covering it with glitter. It's a really cool effect!

For this ATC I started with a piece of chipboard, I then glued the butterfly image on and then added glitter, pearls and butterflies from my stash. To give a bit more depth I then glazed the whole card with Beeswax.

Please enjoy this free Gecko Galz Collage sheet “Butterflies & Birds”

Now go to the next site and collect the next word plus your next FREE collage sheet.

Nature Notes Tag

I've created this feminine tag, by firstly gold embossing the bark background stamp. I then brayered over the bark with turquoise and green.

I then stamped the sentiment and the trees on another piece of card, coloured and cut them out and added the ribbon.

Vintage Christmas Card

Here's a vintage style Christmas card, that's real quick to make using Gecko Galz Vintage Christmas Collage sheet and Spellbinders Postage Set.

At Gecko Galz we're all really excited because tomorrow is the start of our 2nd annual Blog Hop, with FREE collage sheets at every stop, as well as prizes :-)

So make sure you come back and visit over the next 3 days.

Asian Delight

Zoe has chosen our next theme at the Craft Room Challenge. And she wants us to go all Asian influence- I was spoilt for choice - as I have heaps of asian style stamps and papers. But I decided to use one of the peacock stamps from our sponsor's Tanda Stamps Art Nouveau set.

I created this little Asian gift box by using a gift bag die- but instead of paper I used some of my old chinese pj fabric :-) I stuck it to some card with the Sissix sticky paper stuff, and then cut as normal- I just love how it's turned out. I then die cut the peacock and leaf in blue glitter paper, added the stamped peacock tag and ribbon, and it's ready for someone special.

I think this might be a popular theme with some of you- and so as always I can't wait to see your Asian Creations. And don't forget you have the chance to win some

Don't forget to check out the other DT creations, they are stunning!

CAS flowers

My 4th card for Linked for Pink :-) I created the pink oval by sponging within my Spellbinders Oval Die- real quick and easy. I then stamped the pink flowers added the sentiment and bling and glitter.

This card along with all the other pink ones is destined for the Sisterhood.

I'm also entering this card at Just Add Ink where they want to see our new stash :-) I've used 2 new sets on this card from the new SU catalogue.

Pretty in Pink

October is always Pink!! I think Breast Cancer Awareness month is acknowledged in a good few many countries in October.

This is the first of a few Pink card posts I'm going to make over the next couple of days all in the cause of Breast Cancer Awareness and celebrating ALL women- cause we're wonderful :-D

And I'm linking up for Pink, make sure you check it out!

I've made these 2 CAS cards using the Rogue Redhead Designs stamp set Milliner Misses, this set has hardly seen ink- shame on me.

I've stamped them in pink and added bling and glitter.

Both cards are destined for the Sisterhood which is where women support women. Sophie started the Sisterhood and it's an amazing thing. Women send new goodies and hand made gifts to Sophie who puts them together into what she calls Bombs. These are then sent out to women who've been nominated by other women. usually these women are struggling for various reasons. It's just a way for that woman to know that women are thinking of her <3

So I'm getting my Christmas goodie parcel together and will be sending next week, if you're a woman in NZ then check it out x

Tim Tag Time

Tim's October tag arrived in Blogland today- gotta love the inspiration- so I got inky real quick. With my own take on the spooky tag. I had to make a lot of improvisation, but of course that's half the fun :-)

I'm thinking I might do a Christmas one next.

Le Mysterieux Carnival

Bonjour, mes amies. le Mysterieux Carnival is in town.
Did you receive your Silver Ticket darlings?

Le Mysterieux Carnival- Spooky Fun.

They were gracious enough to accept my invitation to come and play in my haunted woods next to mon petit Chateau.

I'm also taking the opportunity to hold my annual Carnivale Masquerade Ball. Where only the best dressed will join in the spooky fun- who's behind the mask?

We walk through the gate into the haunted woods.

The Carnival awaits.

The Mysterieux Carnival have bought all the rides and their spooky sideshows, will you be brave enough to play in the woods?

Sideshows not to miss: Carter the Great Wizard- conjouring his own electrical storm with bats and demons.

The Dark Rose Fortune Teller is your future to bloom or are you doomed?

And then there's the freakshows..........

Thanks for coming to my Mysterieux Carnival Masquerade. Au Auvoir mes amies until next time. Merci beaucoup Frosted Petunias and Anna for Hosting Le carnival, it was fun x
