Deck the Halls

It's that time again, and as we are rapidly approaching Christmas, the lovely Hazel over at Craft Room Challenge, has chosen the theme of Christmas Decorations- now we don't want to see cards, just lots of decoration fun!

I finally ( It's been sitting barely touched, since I started it 2 Christmases ago!) finished my Christmas inspired Configurations boxes- these are such fun!

Frida Shrine

It's Christi's turn to host, and she's chosen Anything 3D as her theme :-)

I had so much fun creating this Frida Shrine- I love how it turned out.

My daughter and I have a bit of a current obsession of Frida Kahlo.... she was an amazing woman and artist. I hope one day to go to Mexico and see her studio and some of her art.

Halloween Tag

Aside from todays Vintage Christmas card for the latest Craft Room Challenge- which you can see here.
I'm going to be having a spooky Halloween Blog week :-)

First up is a tag to a new challenge to me, that I found via one of my Teamies Hazel Harler ( you should check out her blog ) the new challenge is Speed Craft Challenge - such fun- and great way to kick mojo into a speedy gear! Their current Challenge Theme is halloween.

You have 15 mins to create anything crafty, and you can have your supplies ready :-)

here's my supplies Ready:

A Bit messy.... I'm a messy creator ;-)

Here's my finished Halloween tag, I still had just under 2 mins on the clock left, background created with ink and sprays and stencils, stamps from Crafty Secrets, and cut outs from Retro Art Cafe, and bits from an old book.

Here's my phone stop watch :

I think I'll definitely be playing along in the future :-)

Vintage Christmas at Craft Room

We had some lovely entries in our Create your own background at Craft Room Challenge, and as always it will be hard for us to pick our winners.

For our next challenge we've gone with the nostalgic Vintage Christmas, I think you're going to have fun with this one.

Day of the Dead ATC

I'm finally getting some of my Mojo back, to get into the studio and just create for fun, so there will be some more active blogging from me this week :-)

First up is this little Day of the Dead ATC I've done for the Wicked Wednesday ATC  Challenge.
Such fun  creating this colourful ATC. Looks like their DT did too :-)

Dia de los muertos

I used a new to me little stamp set from Inkadoo, for these sugar skulls, I've then coloured and doodled.

Here's to a great week.
