Tag the Words

I'm enjoying a bit of free time to just play and have fun, I made this tag with some left over acrylic paints on my palette :-)

I've then used distress ink and the honey comb stencil to add more depth to the background and then stamped and smooched. I then covered the whole tag with Beeswax, and added some extra gold acrylic paint on the edges.
Love this quote - perfect bookmark I reckon.

Challenges:

A Vintage Journey-Say it With Words, exciting to be joining in the fun for their 2nd challenge.

Unruly Paper Arts Reader Art Quest 2 - any elements from the mood board- I've grabbed the pink and the cracked pattern.

Cute Winter Inspired Card

Over at Rogue Redhead Designs Holiday Inspiration Club this month, we are creating our own backgrounds.

I've used the snowflakes, from the cute Beatrix Potter Winter stamp set, to create my background, and I added some glitter.

Isn't that mouse just the cutest?

Transport at the Craft Room Challenge

Another fortnight has whizzed by, and it's time for a new challenge at the Craft Room, We take it in turns to pick our themes. The lovely Suzanne chose the theme of Transport, sadly for personal reasons she's had to step down from the DT, but we decided to run with her theme as it's such a goodie.

Our sponsors are Crafty Individuals.

I've used one of their new stamps CI-404, just love this steam train, I think it's going to get a fair bit of use.

You make Me Happy

Well would you looky here, I actually got inspired to take part in a few challenges, it's been sooooooo long.

The first challenge that caught my eye was Case Study- with this stunner of a card, and the DT work equally WOW!

And then over at Just Add Ink- it's been an age since I had chance to join in, they're celebrating Sale A Bration, and there's some more lovely cards to inspire you :-)

I've used one of the SAB stamp sets on my card, such a cute set. I've created the back ground with Dylusions inks on Glossy Card, I've also smooched  some gold. Then with black Archival ink I've stamped the sentiment. I added the grey bow, as my grey skies....
Always a lot of fun creating backgrounds this way.
Have a great week everyone.

20th Century Magic

Its the lovely creative Zoe's turn at Craft room challenge, to give us our theme, and she's chosen the 20th Century........ thats one heck of a theme Zoe!

Spoilt for choice, I thought maybe I'd go with the Roaring Twenties or Disco Seventies, in the end I got thinking about one of my all time favourite actors: Jimmy Dean, he had a monumental influence on the youth of the early and late fifties, and maybe other generations. Teenagers didn't really exist before the fifties.
So that's what I chose, Teenagers and Youth Culture .
Have fun, and check out the Dt's work cause we've rocked the last century good!

Teenagers and Youth Culture.

Our sponsors for this challenge are: Tando Creative.

have another great week.
