Friendship Challenge

It's time for another challenge at Craft Room Challenge, and we have a great prize for this challenge offered by Crafty Individuals.

This gorgeous heart set.

The theme of this challenge is Friendship. I've made an 8 x 8 Layout. I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock and went from there, sponging, masking, stamping and spritzing :-) This page is a sneek peek part of a special book I'm making for  a special lady, still a few days until she sees it- so shhhhhh :-)

I'll be showing more pages over the next few weeks.

Just Like Honey

I've made this tag with the new release Getting Grizzly Full Plate from Rogue Redhead Designs (RDD).

First of all I stamped with the background honeycomb stamp, then sponged. I then stamped the bears and the sentiment. I added the leaves from the  Floriculture RRD set.

I then covered the whole tag with melted beeswax, it smells divine, just like honey.....

Here's the images from the Full Plate, get yours from RRD, while it's on special.

It's such a cute versatile set.

Have a Great Week.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my Dad's birthday, he's lives in England and so birthdays can be tricky times, so as a surprise for when he next checks my blog - This post is for him x

I've created this tropical scene for his card, using post it notes, sponges, markers and inks. The stamp set is from Gina K Designs. The inks and markers are Stampin' Up. I've added a little bit of organza ribbon and matted with Hessian to continue the tropical feel.

I'm entering this card into Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge, the theme is Anything Goes.

Happy Birthday Dad !!!!!

Our Furry Friends

Well we had such fun having you all visit us during our Birthday Celebration  Blog Hop, and we loved visiting your birthday cards.

For our next challenge Zoe's chosen Furry 4 legged friends- I think she means cats and dogs lol.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Tando Creative.

I love cats but we are all allergic so no furry friends in our house, just chickens :-)

Here's my card, I've gone all Clean and Simple for this Challenge.

Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

What's Your Song?

Here's my final piece I created using the Vintage Bird Kit from Vintage Page Designs. I created the canvas by using the pages from the kit.

I then lightly gessoed over the pages, I added some colour with masks, inks and acrylic paint. Then I  highlighted the chickadee illustration and added another image from the kit. I then painted in some details. I then added beeswax over the whole canvas and added the chipboard pieces which I'd painted gold.
