I then lightly gessoed over the pages, I added some colour with masks, inks and acrylic paint. Then I highlighted the chickadee illustration and added another image from the kit. I then painted in some details. I then added beeswax over the whole canvas and added the chipboard pieces which I'd painted gold.

Hi Debi, just want to say that I love the boldness of colour on this canvas. Also, using gesso daunts me a little, so I really admire pieces that use it lol...a beautiful piece Debi
