12 for 2012

As we say Au Revior to 2012 and Bonjour to Bon chance 2013, I think it's always great to say thanks and look back at what you've achieved. No different for my blog, so here's 12 of my personal favourite creations.

Christmas Page

All this hot weather has been inspiring me to create in really bright colours- here's my latest digital scrapbook page created using My Memories version 4. I love those colours!

Vintage Milliner Miss

I hope you've all had a lovely christmas, for me it was great to grab a craft time today and create something non- Christmas and completely for fun- I reached for the Rogue Redhead Designs Milliner Misses stamp set. I love this set it's so elegant and vintage.

Parisian Winter

I'm sure you know the feeling of getting an idea for a card, and just having to run to your craft desk to create it? Well that's how it was for me and this card. I've taken some artistic licence and popped the Effiel Tower in a park edged by trees- and of course a snowy day.

It was lovely to see all your French creations at Craft Room Challenge, how quickly the next challenge comes around. The lovely Hazel has chosen Tags, so lets see those tags. The DT have come up with a lovely selection of tags.

For my tag, I've gone all romantic and vintage, I've used tissue tape, some collage images and a Gibson Girl stamp from Flonz.

Relish Reading

This is another of my all time favourite Rogue Redhead designs stamp. It's from the Relish reading set. I've used the background stamp and the girl to create this notebook.

These altered notepads make great little stocking fillers.

Wow!! you did us proud with all your entries in our Diecut and Punch Challenge! So many amazing creations.

This next Craft Room challenge has been chosen by me :-) I've asked the team to go all Francais avec moi. My school French is fairly limited :-) I currently have a French Colleague at work so my School French has been getting a little work out, and that's partly why I chose a French Theme. I think most of us love that effortless elegant chic French look.

I've steadily working on my Christmas craft list, here's one of the Christmas cards I've made this weekend. I've embossed the image with black and a little glitter and then sponged the sky. 

I love the sentiments from this Stampin' Up! Set as it reminds me of singing carols in church when I was at school :-)

Some Like it Hot!

With Christmas only 5 weeks away! EEk!! I've made  a start on my stocking fillers. Here's a notepad I've made using one of the latest sheets from the Bombshell Collage sheets by Gecko Galz.

I covered the scallop circle chipboard with fabric and then added Marilyn and then some prettiness, love how it's turned out. Made it hard to wrap- this one's off to the UK for a family member :-)

Christmas Gift Tags

I don't know about for you, but for me time's speeding by and I needed some Christmas Gift Tags quick. This is what I came up with: 6 tags using 2 sets from Rogue Redhead Designs, Snow Hugs and Candy Kisses.

Seaside Tag Book

Forgive me for a short post today, I've had a very busy few days and now I'm shattered :-) and it's not even December yet!!! Which is always a busy time for everyone.

It's another challenge at Craft Room Challenge and Mervi is challenging us to get out our Dies and create.

This is a little Tag Book I've created using a Tag Die,  I then also cut a couple more die shapes for the front- there are 3 tags inside.

These little books are actually invites I've made for my staff at work for our Christmas weekend. We're heading into Summer (hopefully) here in NZ hence the summer colours and images.

Mais Oui, J'adore Paris!

Here's a card I made for a friend you loves anything French :-)

I've dry embossed and added a whole heap of glitter, I then tissue taped and dry embossed another piece and again added glitter. I then stamped the Effiel Tower and some french script and a flower, and added a glitter border.

I love how the card's turned out - subtle, classy and elegant- tres Francais :-)

Christmas Tag

Here's a tag I've made using  Rogue Redhead Designs set Snow Hugs. I've coloured with real jewel colours. I created the tag background, using the same technique as Tim Holtz's October tag. I used tissue tape, picket fence and some colour and heaps of shimmer spray. I then popped it through the Big Shot in a snowflake embossing folder. And then added some more vanilla shimmer smooch, which has given the tag a real pearly shimmer :-) I added some glitter paper snowflakes for the final touch.
