It's our 1st birthday at Craft Room Challenge and so we're having a blog hop!!! There are prizes at every stop, with one big prize, a runners up prize too donated by Liz Welch of Rarebird AND we still have a Birthday challenge running with another super prize!!! Scroll down for the details of how to win :-)
You should of just come from Mervi's blog where you will of seen her gorgeous Birthday Creation :-) If not, no worries you can just hop round or you can go back to the first stop, which is at the Craft Room.
Our challenge Theme is of course Birthdays! so we want to see anything birthday related. I make no apologies for going completely over the top on my fav vintage style of card, afterall it's our birthday.
I've stamped and collaged the background then made a little tag from Graphic 45 Steampunk collection, I've added beeswax and glitter to give it an old vintage feel.
Blog Hop Rules:
Like all such events the rules are simple, our hop has a little twist instead of looking for a letter at each stop there will be a very easy to answer question. Remember do not leave the answer
to the question in your comment! But do please leave a comment at each stop, there is a prize donated by each team member to be won, selected from the comments left at each blog. Collect all your answers and send them in an email to Zoe, the winner will be selected at random from all the correct entries received.
My question is more of a complete the sentence:
Debi's favourite style is V..tage.
For my prize to one lucky person I'm offering this Stampin' Up! wood mounted Punch Bunch 5 piece stamp set.
Remember to collect your answers and email Zoe. Please don't post your answer here, but I would still love you to leave me a comment so you're in to win this lovely stamp set.
You are now ready to Hop over to Hazel's Blog where another gorgeous creation awaits!
The stops along the way are:

Wedding Favour
As always I've left it to the last minute! Here's my contribution to Unruly paper arts reader Quest Wedding themed but not a card.
I've made this little gift bag or wedding favour. I've inked and dry embossed the background, then added some layers of paper doily, lace glitter, stamped and sponged sentiment.
Lots of ribbon on the handles too, which you can't see well here, the light is not so good today, very rainy and stormy, winter's truly on it's way here in Wellington.

Hey Cupcake!
I just fancied making something different to my usual vintage style on this Wintery day in Wellington.
I used my new Marci stamp from La-la Land Crafts, isn't she a cutie!
I've coloured her with my Prismacolour pencils, and then added some vanilla flavoured embossing powder to the cupcake icing- so she smells like a cupcake too :-)
I stamped the background with a simple heart, and again embossed some hearts with the vanilla Flavour- yum.
Some simple ribbon and tag and we're all done. Nice and Simple.

Vintage Mother's Day
It feels like an age since I got inky and collaged some stamps together. This has to be one of my absolute favourite ways of using ink and stamps as the results are always unique. I really enjoyed mixing and matching these stamps from various sets and makes.
I then sponged in Blushing Bride pink (SU) and distressed the edges. I double cut the sentiment label with the new Framelits again from SU.
Other Details:
Stamp Sets: Res Des Fleurs (SU), Very Vintage (SU), Happiness Shared (SU), Tea Shoppe (SU),Shabby French (Stampers Anonymous).
Ribbon and Lace: Lace from grandmas stash :-), peach seam binding from Vintage Page Designs.
Inks: Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Crumb Cake, Perfect Plum, Silver Smooch.

Bird Challenge
Ali Manning over at Vintage Page Designs has just released her brand new limited edition Vintage Bird Kits. These kits are yummy, full of genuine vintage page delights.
To help celebrate the release of the kits, Ali is running a Bird Challenge, she wants to see your beautiful bird creations, she will pick 3 random winners at the end of the month. Who will win the neutral seam binding collection.
Here's my bird card made with some of the pages from the Kit.
I started my card by gently sponging with Stampin' Up (SU) ink Marina Mist. On another page of vintage text I then wet embossed the bird image from the retired SU set 24-7, I then sponged again over with Marina Mist.
I then added some of the absolutely divine seam binding available from Here
Check out the other gorgeous designs form the DT Here
Looking forward to seeing you join in the fun.

Emboss It!!!!
We had some stunning entries with Nikki's Ink It!!! Challenge over at Craft Room Challenge. I don't envy her the job of picking her Top 3!!!
For our next challenge Esther is asking us to Emboss it!!! You could wet or dry emboss, and the DT team have come up with some great embossing pieces.
We have the generous sponsor of Stamp Addicts for this challenge, the winner will receive a 10 pound gift voucher to spend- Whoo Hoo- you will be spoilt for choice, they have such a big selection to chose from.
I had so many ideas running round in my head for this challenge, I could hardly chose, my final piece came out nothing like I thought, but I love it anyway.
I haven't used the cracked glass technique for so long, and it's such fun, and creates such a cool vintage look to your stamping. I put about 5 layers of ordinary clear embossing powder, then popped the whole thing in the freezer for 10 minutes, and then cracked the embossing, and sponged with a darker ink to highlight the cracks. I hope you can see that ok, it proved to be a bit tricky to get a photo of.
Stamp set: SU Lovely as a Tree
I'm entering this card into the following challenge: Fashionable Stamping Challenges Embossing
Have a great week and I can't wait to see what you all come up, and have some fun :-)
