Gosh, doesn't that fortnight come round quick! Thank you for all your lovely creations in our last challenge at the Craft Room, some lovely embellishments on all your creations.
This time we have a theme challenge set by the gorgeous Julia- she wants to see our Creations for the men in our lives.
Our sponsor is once again Flonz stamps. On my card the Gibson Girl is from Flonz. As you can see I've gone all vintage for my card. The paper is from Graphic 45 and the other stamps are from SU.
The Dt have created some stunners for this challenge so make sure you pop over and check them out!

Wings of Love Tag
Finally, got chance today to finish Tim's February Tag, I'm not entirely happy with the outcome of this tag. I had to improvise heaps for this months tag, but I do like the watercolour paper effect and the raising of some of the angel's wings. I had no Kraft Core cardstock, so I embossed and sanded some gold paper I had, I then "coloured" the sanded area with pastels, I do like how that's worked. I love the tissue tape ribbon too- such a fab idea.
As always there are some stunning tags over on Tim's blog so make sure you have a peep.
Get messy
Simon says Stamp and Show are asking us to get Messy!
Here's a journal page created with Dylusion sprays, Gesso, oil pastels, stamps and bits and bobs.
We are still enjoying the Summer days here in New Zealand, Have a great Day.

Gothic Valentine
It's Sunday Art Postcard time again- and the cool theme this week is Gothic Valentine. Here's my 6 x 4 Digital Art Postcard.
maybe this is a bit to pretty to be really Gothic, but I think the sentiment hints at the darkness :-)

Summer Blues
Well I'm feeling blue with the Summer Hols coming to an end, and with the kids going back to school. He's me farewelling the great summer hols we've had. I created the background, quickly by spraying some ink onto glossy card, and then applying some scrunched kitchen paper towel to soak up some of the extra ink. Using black Archival Ink, I stamped images from Rogue Redhead Designs Beach Babes set.

Make your own Embellishments!
I really do leave it too long between scrapbook layouts, it really is my first love. So when my Design Team mate at Craft Room Challenge, Maria chose the theme Make your own embellishments- it had to be a Layout ;)
This is a 12 x 12 layout of an old photo I've been meaning to do for a long time. We don't know who she is, but she has the family nose, so we're pretty sure she's a relation, going from her dress this photo probably dates from about 1875.
Our sponsor this week is Liz Welch with a Friendly Plastic prize pack of the fun stuff.
Make sure you check out the other Dt work as it's as stunning as usual.
Details:
Patterned paper is from SU, as are the stamps. Lace and ribbon is SU with some old lace from Grandma's Stash. My handmade embellishments are the Tulle Crumb Cake colour flower and the ephemera Perfume bottle labels are from Gecko Galz.
I'm entering this layout over at Just Add Ink Scrapbook Challenge, where they want to see lace and ephemera- just up my street :-)
have a great week everyone

SPA-Circles
I'm just back from my summer hols- we had a great time and the weather was stunning :-)
Here's my first creation since arriving back on Saturday, a digital 6 x 4 postcard for Sunday Postcard Art.
The theme this week is circles.
I've gone with a Circles of the Mind train of thought.

Which is why it's pretty busy with lots of overlapping layers.
Details: made in My memories using various kits from them and Itkupilli.
