Spring Growth

Spring truly has arrived here in New Zealand, so cool timing for Zoe's theme at Craft Room Challenge: Seasonal Colours.

I've done some more Art Journalling, though with more actual painting than stamping, there's also some stencilling on here.

Hard to see, but there's a whole heap of writing on the pages too.

Watercolour Notes

Here's a quick and simple CAS card, which though easy looks great. I love how the colours just pop off the paper. The base for the card is heavy watercolour paper. I've then sprayed with 2 Dylusion inks and gold smooch. I then have stamped the trees from the Rogue Redhead Designs Nature Notes Set, using black Archival ink. The sentiment comes from Nature Notes too.

Nature Notes Tag

I've created this feminine tag, by firstly gold embossing the bark background stamp. I then brayered over the bark with turquoise and green.

I then stamped the sentiment and the trees on another piece of card, coloured and cut them out and added the ribbon.
