Coaster Notepad

Inside Coaster

I've made this Little coaster notepad holder for a private swap with a new cyber friend. I hope she likes it. I'm also entering in the Once in A Blue Moon challenge over at Gingersnap Creations. Which is a really cool challenge, we get to chose ANY of the past challenges- which I can tell you was actually a tough call. This is and old challenge Chestnut Theme GC53 Read and also a Supply Challenge of Chipboard.

Free Your Bird

Over at Mixed media monday the challenge is to stretch yourself and produce a piece of art in the opposite size to your norm. I've been doing Atc's and postcards, teerified of the large blank canvases waiting in the corner :) so here's my biggest piece so far - it's about 40 cm X 55 cm.
I'm really happy with how it's turned out and I think I'm not scared of blank canvas any more :)

Media Used
Gouache, acrylic, pen & ink. Vintage paper.

snowy day

Here's my card for this weeks challenge at Case Study. I enjoyed making this card, I've cased the layout. The stamp is one by Sugar Nellie.
As always I love to know what you think :)

The Cherry Picker

I had just a little spare time yesterday, and took advantage of the open theme at Sunday Postcard Art to do this simple one layer postcard. I've drawn and stencilled onto a 6 X 4 postcard of patterned paper.

Wishing you all a Peaceful & Love filled 2011.

Ventian Masks

I've been wanting to make some Ventian masks for a long time... here they are. I used them to decorate my Christmas table.

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Christmas and a Peaceful 2011 to you all.

Trinket Arch

This weeks theme at Gothic Arches is bauble- which I''ve taken to be a trinket. The photo is a family one of one of my ancestors.

La Calavera Catrina

The theme this week over at Sunday Postcard Art is The day of the Dead- a Celebration to end a spooky and dark month. I wanted my la Calavera Catrina- The Elegant Skull- to be really colorful- but with the skull looking just a little spooky- as that's what came across for me with the images I found.
