It's my lucky turn to choose the theme over at Craft Room Challenge. if you're anything like me, you either have a heap of new stash still waiting to be used, or your Pinterest Boards are full of techniques that you want to try but just haven't got round to it yet lol. So I thought lets have a challenge that might get us using some new stash or a new technique.
I have a very large pile of photos from our holiday back in January still waiting to scrap, I finally got my hands on the perfect patterned paper for these photos- Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar, here's the first page I've completed:
And here's some close up's of the fussy cutting and flowers (also new stash ;) )
I hope you have some fun creating either with some new stash or having a play with a new technique. Finally, our sponsor for this challenge is The Stampman.
We had such a varied delight of all the wonderful ays we can heat emboss, so thank you. For our next challenge Mervi's chosen the fun theme of Bingo at Craft Room Challenge - Such Fun- chose a line or go for a Full House :-)
I've created a 12 x 12 scrapbook page, and I have to confess I adore how it's turned out :-)
I've go for the Brown, Lace and Pearl or Gem row.
Our sponsor is Sweet Poppy Stencils, who is offering the winner Hollyhock stencil, pot of Stencil Dimensions Glossy White Paste, and a paste spreader.
Have a great week, and I hope to see you play Bingo with us :-)
I'm slowly working through my pages for each month- doing a mix of last year and this - I'll get there in the end. Still loving the hybrid pages, I've always loved creating digitally because actually it's cheaper, so you can get some really gorgeous pages at a fraction of the cost of going all paper.... But, I never printed them - 12 x 12's a tricky to print and I'm not a huge fan of A4.
So just love creating these 8 x 8 layouts digitally, then printing them and then using them as the basis of a 12 x 12.
I have to say I just love how this page has turned out :-)
I'm entering this over at Just add Ink, where they want us to Just add Digital ;-)
Like many of you I was pleased to hear of the safe arrival of Baby Cambridge :-) Rogue Redhead Designs Getting Grizzly is such a cute stamp set, perfect for a baby card. Here's one of the cuties in blue. I've stamped him with Archival Black ink on glossy cardstock and then coloured him with Promarkers. I then layered some patterned paper, ribbon and lace and finished it off with some heart brads.
